Our History
UK Environmental & Asbestos Solutions LTD began trading on the 27th May 2008. Since the date of opening, our business has grown from strength to strength. With over 60 years collective experience and over 40 members of staff in our organisation, our team of highly qualified managers deliver a first-class service, seamlessly integrating into onsite projects. We also act as consultants to local Councils as well as some of the UK’s leading construction and demolition firms.
We are involved all year round in social housing projects for various companies throughout the Northwest, as well as the commercial sector when required. Our team of highly skilled Supervisors and Operatives work with the public daily, therefore our main priority is always Health & Safety.
With a strong emphasis on preserving the environment, we operate a carbon neutral business offsetting our emissions and by regularly reviewing our wider business operations we aim to ensure the firm’s Corporate Social Responsibility objectives are being met.

Mark Lamb
MANAGING DIRECTOR

Mark began his career in the industry in 1995 as an Asbestos Removal Operative. Mark quickly learnt his role and became a role model to others, becoming a supervisor. Onto a contracts manager, and in 2011, Mark became the director of UK Environmental & Asbestos Solutions Limited.
Continuing to use his knowledge and experience, Mark is ensuring that UK Environmental & Asbestos Solutions Limited maintains its credibility as a professional, reliable, and competitive contractor nationwide.

Andrew Sheridan
OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

Andrew began his career in the industry in 1995 as an Asbestos Removal Operative. Continuing up the career path, Andrew quickly became a supervisor and contracts manager and then took the natural step of becoming the Director of UK Environmental & Asbestos Solutions Limited in 2011.
Andrew continues to guide all employees by leading by example. His knowledge, experience, and insight into the industry have created the pathway for our successful business.

Simon McCaffrey
CONTRACTS MANAGER

Joining our team in 2022, Simon began his career in the industry in 1994 as an Asbestos Removal Operator. Simon progressed to a supervisor in 2002-2014.
2014-2016 Simon completed his BOHS P402, became a confident, knowledgeable asbestos surveyor, and covered all sizes of projects.
A natural step for Simon was to take on the role of contracts manager, where his knowledge and experience could be shared. He thrives on the most challenging, complex asbestos removal projects and continues to improve.

Rebecca Ratcliffe-Sheridan
CONTRACTS MANAGER

Rebecca joined the team in 2021 as the business development manager and has been success in climbing the ladder to becoming a contracts manager in 2024.
She is a hands-on member of the team that thrives on the challenges she faces as a contracts manager.
Rebecca continues on the learning curve and has success in manAging several non-licensed & non-licensed projects so far..

Paul Robson
TECHNICAL & QUALITY MANAGER

Paul joined the company in 2024 as a contracts manager but has decided to take a new path, now becoming our technical & quality manager.
His new role includes assisting in the development and performance monitoring of all policies & procedures and providing technical assistance to all employees during estimation, tender application, contract reviews, HSE licensing & SO compliance and many more aspects.
Paul has a wide variety of job role experience within the industry, building up since 2007. Paul has been successful in his roles as a surveyor, analyst, senior consultant, operative, supervisor & contracts manager. He has a hard working, professional, approachable team member who is creative in his thinking.

Chloe Davies
WASTE MANAGER

Chloe joined our company in 2022 as an administrative assistant to our contracts manager. She has continued to progress and is now the company waste manager.
She is responsible for arranging, managing, and documenting all waste disposal data within the company, including licensed, non-licensed, and general waste.
Chloe is also our Assure 360 manager, uploading and finalizing all jobs and ensuring DOPs of plant and equipment are kept up to date and the upload and maintenance of all associated certifications.
Chloe continually improves her knowledge by attending training courses and working with other experienced employees to ensure the company is compliant.

Our newest member to the team, Gracie, joined us in 2024 to undertake the role of our business development manager.
New to the industry, Gracie has been improving her knowledge & proudly progressing in her role. She is a hands-on member of the team bringing new ideas & ways of thinking to the business.
Her role focuses on establishing relationship across the UK for all asbestos-related projects, Inclusive of meeting with existing clients, potential new clients & creating the relationships that fuel the company.
